Two pieces ready for bisque firing now.

Ball clay terra sigillata, with a small amount of cobalt and manganese oxide in alternating layers. Occasionally added a pure layer as well. Burnished (or more accurately, polished) with a plastic bag.

Bit concerned I may have gone overboard with the number of layers, but the layers were thin. Considering this, I will remain cautiously optimistic.
