Stoneware firing complete.
This piece was started about two years ago. Recently returned to it.
Not happy with the manganese dioxide application. Originally tried to wax the end of each nodule, and intended to go heavier with the oxide to create more contrast. Overworked it, while speeding up to help fill the kiln.
The big lesson -> take the amount of time that's required full stop.
Will try for a third firing .. but not sure what to do yet.
