I wanted to experiment with oxide washes on greenware; so mixed a wash using manganese dioxide, gillespie borate and a pinch of bentonite.
Applied this onto greenware with a white commercial slip; using brush and sponge.
I've found it difficult to use a wash with slip after bisque, because it's difficult to achieve enough contrast.
I'm hoping this will be able to be layered and improved after bisque.
Ideally I want to shift the tone either towards the white or the darker manganese at this stage to create a more unified palette.
